Announcements
- Midterm 2 will be on Nov. 11 in class 2pm-3:20pm. You will be allowed to take one paper-size one-sided notes
(together with your previous one paper-size one-sided notes for midterm 1). No other notes, books, and calculators are allowed.
The exam will cover the materials from DSB-SC to the demodulation of FM (lecture on Nov. 4), and from homework 4 to homework 8.
The materials before DSB-SC will not be
specifically tested, but your solutions to problems may need your knowledge about those.
Recitation on Nov. 10 will be a review section for midterm 2 given by Prof. Liang.
Prof. Liang will hold extra office hour on Nov. 10 2-5pm and Nov. 11 10am-noon at CST 4-189.
- The lectures on Sept. 28 and Sept. 30 are cancelled. These cancelled classes will be made up
by using three recitations for regular lectures. The schedules will be given at a later stage. To further make up for these recitations,
TA and Prof. Liang will hold extra office hours later in the semester.

Homework 4 (that will be handed out on Sept. 23) will still be due on Sept 30. The TA will be in the classroom during 2pm-2:15pm to collect homeworks.
The graded homework 4 will be given back on Oct 5.
- The TA will still hold Recitation on Sept 29.
